I think restroom ads are effective. People have the tendency of reading what they see when they’re using the urinals or the cubicles. It’s the only thing they can actually do at that moment. Their eyes don’t wander around too much and they try to focus it on just one area of the restroom. An ad placed in front of them would certainly get their attention.

I agree with what article. Targeting to the right people is very important in saving one’s money and take most use of your advertising budget. There is no needs to waste money on the ads which target all walks of and both genders of the population. The idea of restroom advertising absolutely rocks the advertising world. Although, it has to be placed correctly to perfectly target the desired market. An example would be placing ads or banners right in front of each and everyone’s male urinals so that when men urinates, we don’t have a choice but to stare at the ads or the banner in front of us. For females, we can place ads or banners on the inside doors which has the same effect obviously leaving the females no choice but to stare and read the advertisement.

This is very informative. This gives a new insight about marketing and ad location. Placing ads in restrooms really targets two points. One is you will be able to place gender-targeted ads, and two, it will be a bit humorous/entertaining that will surely catch the interest of potential clients.
